The story behind the day

When a community stands together, its voice grows stronger.

Madibana SA joined community members in a march against gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF). We came together to raise our voices for dignity, respect and safety.

Participants came together to raise awareness and share an important message: violence cannot be normalised, silence must be challenged, and every person has a role to play in building safer communities.

We added our voices to a shared call for change. Our message is clear: Madibana SA stands against GBVF.

Together, we stand against GBVF

Break the silence.
End the violence.

Every voice matters. Together, we stand against GBVF.
